Conference Overview
The second Collaborative Piano Festival at the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) will take place October 12–15, 2026, in Beijing. CCOM included the festival among its officially approved 2026 academic and artistic projects.
The program brings together collaborative piano faculty and specialists from more than ten professional music institutions and includes one academic symposium, two specialist lectures, two public masterclasses, two expert classes, and four concerts.
Why Attend
The festival is particularly relevant to students and early-career musicians working in Collaborative Piano, Piano Accompanying, Artistic Coaching, Chamber Music, and instrumental or vocal collaboration. In addition to performance, the program addresses professional training, pedagogy, disciplinary development, and the artistic role of the collaborative pianist.
Submission & Participation Opportunities
The festival is structured primarily around professional exchange, masterclasses, academic discussion, and performances rather than a general Call for Papers. External observers were invited to attend free of charge, but registration closed September 27, 2026, at midnight.
Recommended For
Collaborative piano students and faculty; accompanists and artistic coaches; piano performance students; chamber musicians; and musicians working with instrumentalists or singers.
